Build Windows 7 or Vista Log on Automatically

If you are just running a home computer for gaming or something unimportant, you might not want to have to log in every single time you reboot your computer. There’s an easy tweak that will let you autologin.

First, we’ll need to get to the Advanced User Accounts Control Panel to get to this setting. I think there’s a registry tweak as well, but that seems like too much work.

Type in netplwiz into the start menu search box, hit enter, and you’ll see this screen:

Note: If that doesn’t work, you can type in control userpasswords2 instead.

Uncheck the box that says “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer”, and then hit Apply. You’ll see a username and password box. Enter in the appropriate information here and hit OK:

Note that these steps work perfectly on XP as well.

Mafia Wars Cheats Character Selection

In order to dominate Mafia Wars you need to make a critical decision right off the bat and that is what type of character do you want to be. Mafia Wars offers you a choice of three different character types: The Mogul character type, the Maniac character type and the Fearless character type. Through out this article I will go through the character types to help you make the best decision on who to start your Mafia Wars career as.

The first character type in Mafia Wars is the Mogul whose most evident advantage is that he is capable of earning money every fifty four minutes instead of every hour like the Maniac and the Fearless character type. The Mogul is also the only character that is eligible to be a bagman and as such you have a chance of doubling the money earned each time you perform a job in one of your friends Top Mafia families. The Mogul character type is capable of making money faster than the other two but once you get to a high level of Mafia Wars money is really not that important anymore.

Mogul Mafia Wars Character Type:
Energy: every 5 min.
Health: every 3 min.
Money: every 54 min instead of 60 min.
Stamina: every 5 min

The second character type in Mafia Wars is the Maniac whose big advantage over the other two is that his energy level replenishes at a faster rate. Instead of gaining one bar of energy every five minutes the Maniac gains the same amount between one to three minutes. With the Maniac character type you are eligible to be a button man which gives you the chance of winning any fight you initiate automatically. The Maniac character with its faster energy replenishing time makes him an ideal choice early on in the game although his skill as a button man does not count for a lot in the later stages of the game.

Maniac Mafia Wars Character Type:
Energy: every 3 min instead of 5 min.
Health: every 3 min.
Money: every 60 min.
Stamina: every 5 min.

The last character type is the Fearless whose big advantage is that he gains health back much quicker than the Mogul and the Maniac. The Fearless character type gains health back at a rate of every two minutes instead of every five. The Fearless character is the only character type who can qualify to be a wheel man which comes with a number of special abilities. With the Fearless character type there is a chance that when you complete a job there may be the possibility of no energy being used which is pretty critical in Mafia Wars

Fearless Mafia Wars Character Type:
Energy: every 5 min.
Health: every 2 min instead of 3 min.
Money: every 60 min.
Stamina: every 5 min

Making the right selection of character types in Mafia Wars will go along way to determine your success and the type of game you are going to play

Planning for Multilingual User Interface Deployments for Windows 7

Multilingual User InterfaceBased on your company's current geographic and IT infrastructure, you need to determine your language and country/region requirements, as well as your hardware requirements and limitations to deploy the appropriate language configurations of Windows 7 and configure country/region support.

You will also need to:

* Determine the roaming user needs in your organization.
* Evaluate the hardware requirements for multilingual support.
* Determine whether your organization will need to deploy a single global image or specific country/region builds for different offices in your organization.

Assessing hardware requirements for multilingual support
Supporting multiple languages can impact your hardware requirements in two areas:
Hard disk space: Some languages require more hard-disk storage space than others. The more languages installed on a computer, the more hard-disk space consumed.
Specialized hardware devices: Some languages or users require special keyboards, IMEs, or alternative input devices.

Determining the requirement of language and country/region
If you have polyglot office environments or you do business in multiple languages then you need to know which languages or bids your organization requires. Also you need to know that whether these languages require input devices or input method editors (IMEs).

You must determine whether currency, time zone, or calendar formats vary between the different countries/regions if you do business on international level. Additionally, you must determine which line-of-business applications you have that must accommodate such country/region differences.

A four-column planning table can help you determine your language and country/region needs. You can organize the table as follows:

* In column one, list your offices or divisions.

* In column two, list the languages or dialects used in those offices or divisions.

* In column three, note the corresponding Windows 7 language collections and locales that support those languages or dialects. For tables listing Windows 7 language packs and settings, see Supported Language Packs and Default Settings.

* In column four, note special standards and format settings, input language support, or default languages for non-Unicode programs required for your offices or divisions.

So, as release date of Windows 7 is close, we find ourselves with revolutionary and new Microsoft OS: Windows 7. Windows 7 seems poised to succeed where Vista couldn’t as it is built on the latest technologies introduced with Vista, but with a renewed focus on performance and compatibility. We’ve finally received a final build of Windows 7 and have run it through the wringer in both the Lab and in the real-world. Here’s what we found.
